Rust
Rust is a color of transformation—an earthy, warm orange that speaks to the passage of time, to the slow but inevitable decay of the world around us. Derived from Orange Iron Oxide, it is a hue reminiscent of metal exposed to the elements, slowly changing as the weathered surface fades and turns into something both beautiful and melancholic. The granulation in Rust gives it a textured, organic feel, as though it is part of the very soil from which it sprang. When layered, it deepens into a more intense, almost fiery orange, like the last flicker of a flame before it fades into ash.
